Positive Leadership
Transformation, uncertainty and constant change characterise the world of work. It is precisely in this dynamic environment that people need leadership that provides orientation, conveys confidence and maintains the ability to act.
Positive leadership – based on positive psychology – describes how managers create stability through attitude rather than control. They create psychological security and spaces for meaning in which employees can grow and take on responsibility.
Positive leadership means remaining human even under pressure – and thereby providing orientation when everything else is in flux.
Research shows that positive leadership enhances well-being, motivation and innovative strength. It enables an atmosphere of flourishing – the blossoming of people and organisations.
My work is therefore not about optimism as a duty, but about the ability to lead oneself and others in a stable and effective manner in complex times.
